Azerbaijani politicians blame Israel for incident in Mediterranean Sea - <font color=red> POLL </font>

â€œBut as arms were used and there were casualties the whole world reacted to it. Even Israelâ€™s friends condemned it. This is an international incident and of course it will keep Turkey-Israel relations in tension for a long time. On the other hand, I consider that support for Palestine and Gaza will increase. This problem has not been solved for 60 years and the unsolved problems are very dangerous. So, I think that this incident will help solve Arab-Israel problem,â€ he said.

Commenting on the fact that the Turkic-speaking states have not demonstrated enough support for Turkey, Vafa Guluzadeh said a number of Turkic-speaking states are on the stage of formation, they do not play so big role in the world policy.
â€œAs Turkey is a big state it can defend justice. But other Turkic-speaking states have their own problems. They act carefully in order not to make these problems worse,â€ he said.

Political analyst Ilgar Mammadov said Israelâ€™s attack on the ship sailing in the international waters can not be justified. He considers that the persons responsible for the incident must be punished.
â€œThe perpetrators of this incident must be determined, they must be punished by the Israeli government, or if it can not or do not want to do it by the international organizations. I know that Turkeyâ€™s reaction was severe, Azerbaijan expressed its concern, I am unaware of the reaction of the other Turkic-speaking states,â€ he said.

â€œThis is inadmissible. It causes regret that tens of people were wounded, killed. Both sides should try to solve the problem within the framework of the international law,â€ said chairman of the Musavat Party Isa Gambar.

Member of the Political Board of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Aydin Mirzazadeh told APA that Israel can not justify itself.
â€œThe relations between Israel and Turkey have become tense enough, the states have already become to speak to each other with ultimatums. There is a need to investigate the incident objectively. The situation is very tense,â€ he said.
MP said that Azerbaijan expressed its position openly, condemned Israelâ€™s action.
â€œAzerbaijanâ€™s position is clear. Azerbaijan as a country having good relations with Turkey and Israel demonstrated its position openly,â€ he said.

Chairman of Umid Party Igbal Agazadeh said the attack on the humanitarian aid was inadmissible.
â€œI think that the reaction of the countries to Israelâ€™s action was adequate. Turkic-speaking states have also reacted appropriately,â€ he said.

Chairperson of Azeri-Turkish Women Society Tanzila Rustamkhanli it was a step contradicting the humanity.
â€œWe condemn it. Israelâ€™s action contradicts both humanism and the international law. The position of Azerbaijani public organizations and Azerbaijanâ€™s official position was adequate enough. But I have not seen the position of the other Turkic-speaking states. Europe, US condemned it, but the other Turkic-speaking states have not done it,â€ she said.
