Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov schedules meetings with Russian President and parliament leaders

Azerbaijani parliamentarians Arif Rahimzadeh, Mikhail Zabelin, Adil Aliyev, Rufat Guliyev, chief of the Parliament Administration Safa Mirzayev and other officials will accompany Asadov during the two-day visit on June 3-5. â€œThe Azerbaijani delegation will meet with President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, chairman of the Council of Federation Sergei Mironov, chairman of State Duma Boris Gryzlov. The current state and prospects of development of bilateral relations, extension of inter-parliamentary relationship, solution to the regional conflicts and other issues will be on agenda during the meetings. The delegation will also visit Azerbaijani embassy in Moscow and take interest in the activity of Azerbaijani Diaspora in Russiaâ€.

Answering the question about the Russian parliamentariansâ€™ observation mission in the â€œelectionsâ€ in Nagorno Karabakh, the spokesman said that he â€œcouldnâ€™t give details, but probably all issues damaging the bilateral relations will be discussed during the visitâ€.

Nasirov expressed his reaction to the Israeli attack on humanitarian aid convoy to Palestine. â€œWe concern over such actions. Probably this issue will be investigated at the international levelâ€.
