VTB-Azerbaijan gets growth in main financial performances for first half-year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2013, Bank VTB’s (Azerbaijan) assets stood at AZN 115.724 mln, up 2.4 times from previous year.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 3.6 times to AZN 110.860 mln, including consumer lending made AZN 57.759 mln, up 4.0 times compared to a year earlier. At the same time, overdue credits soared 2.2 times to AZN 3.937 mln and share in loan portfolio dropped 2.2 percentage points to 3.6%.

Deposit portfolio surged 2.6 times to AZN 11.831 mln, as well as personal savings were equal to AZN 5.853 mln, up 3.1 times by contrast to previous year.

Total capital grew 5.2% to AZN 16.186 mln, including authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 23.815 mln.

Number of clients increased by 2.7 times to 8,026, as well as individuals – by 2.8 times to 7,741, legal entities – by 24.5% to 285. Plastic cards were equal to 632, up 4.0 times compared to a year ago.

For the present, the bank operates 3 branches, 4 ATMs and 4 POS-terminals across the country.
