Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. State Statistical Committee says that the legal and individuals traded with partners in 137 countries in first half of 2013, which 93 exported to 93 countries, imported 126 countries.
SSC says foreign trade turnover made $ 21.6 bln, which $ 5.2 bln of this was import, $ 16.4 bln – export. Consequently, positive balance made $ 1.2mln.
The export operations dropped 7.3%, import increased by 15.5%, foreign trade turnover fell 2.7% and positive balance slipped 15.2% compared to a year ago.
Export of non-oil products made soared 13.5% from previous year.
