Over AZN 2 mln paid for compulsory vehicle insurance in Azerbaijan last year

Baku. Agshn Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. AZN 2,080,282 insurance payment on 1,559 claims regarding Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Owners of Motor Vehicles against insurers, which are members of Compulsory Insurance Bureau, was implemented in September, 2013.

Bureau told APA that AZN 1,934,199 was paid for damage of 1,478 vehicles, AZN 68,083 for damage of 50 properties, AZN 23,000 for injury of 20 healths, AZN 55,000 for death of 11 persons.

255 insurance claims are under consideration.

The Bureau paid did AZN 6,450 compensation payment on three compensation claims.
