Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. AZN 72.8 mln or 71.5% of insurance premiums collected in January-February, 2015, came from voluntary insurance types, up 1.5% from previous year, Azerbaijan Insurers Association told APA-Economics.
Premiums on compulsory insurance types stood at AZN 28.9 mln or 28.5%of market, up 45.5% from previous year.
72% or AZN 17.3 mln of payments went to voluntary types, up 34% by contrast to a year earlier. Compulsory insurance payments rose 10% to AZN 6.7 mln or 28% of total market.
AZN 23.8 was paid for each AZN 100 insurance premium from voluntary type during the reporting period. This figure was AZN 18 last year. Payment for each AZN 100 on compulsory insurance type fell to AZN 23.2 from AZN 30.7.
