Baku – APA-Economics. On September 20, drafts of state budget and consolidated budgets for 2014, forecasts of state and consolidated budgets for the next three years, as well as economic and social development concept were discussed at the Cabinet of Ministers under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh, APA reports quoting AzerTac state agency.
Artur Rasizadeh said that the draft budget was developed taking into account the achievements gained as a result of rapid development of the economy and tendencies observed in the world economy.
The issues on increasing the defense power of the country, economic, energy, food safety, as well as making state budget social and investment-oriented were focused on as the draft was being developed.
Following the discussions on the draft budget, a decision was taken in accordance with the law on “Budget system” to submit to Azerbaijan’s President the collection of documents included in the budget package.
