Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based banks have started to submit the prudential reports to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan every day since February, National Bank of Pakistan’s spokesman Sahib Guliyev told APA-Economics.
According to him, Central Bank has set a task for banks to submit the reported every day.
“Constitution function of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan is to control the banks. Central Bank can require prudential reports monthly, even after each operation. This is in its authority. The CB carried out control function. Therefore, daily submission of prudential reports will not cause any difficulties for banks”, he stressed.
