Bank Respublika gets 28% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Bank Respublika’s assets stood at AZN 426.854 mln, up 28.1% from previous year.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 14.5% to AZN 241.449 mln. At the same time, overdue credits soared 26.8% to AZN 8.518 mln and share of overdue credits dropped 0.3 percentage point to 3.5%.

Deposit portfolio surged 48.2% to AZN 266.163 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 97.378 mln, down 5.9% in annual comparison.

Total capital slipped 4.9% to AZN 54.336 mln, as well as authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 37.461 mln.

Number of plastic cards stood at 65,433, up 5.8% from a year earlier. Debit cards increased by 20.4% to 31,331, credit cards slid 4.8% to 34,102.

For the present, the bank operates 30 branches, 52 ATMs and 761 POS-terminals across the country.
