Azerbaijani Parliament starts discussion of draft law on execution of state budget for 2012

APA reports that Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee Ziyad Samadzadeh gave information about the document.

Samadzadeh said that the FinMinistry and Accounting Chamber conducted calculation in connection with the execution of the budget: ‘Revenues consist of 23 items, there is deficit on 4 items. That means AZN 3.5 mln deficit. However, revenues from other spheres covered that deficit. For the first time, execution of budget deficit was fulfilled at the level of 98 percent. Realization of the considered programs has stipulated the increase of total population incomes. Oil revenues are at sufficient level. In order to maintain sustainable economic development in agriculture, allocation of funds has been continued. Azerbaijani state has not problem with any other state in relation to borrowing. Azerbaijan is one of the rare countries in the world, which have the least budget deficit. American experts mentioned it especially at a recent significant event’.

‘in total, members of the Economic Policy Committee think that budget-2012 gave great contribution to foundation of strong basis for future development of Azerbaijan’ noted Samadzadeh.

Thereupon, FinMinister Samir Sharifov gave information about budget execution.
