Azerbaijan to increase volume of non-oil export per capita

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. The volume of non-oil exports per capita in Azerbaijan will be increased to $1,000 until 2020, Head of Strategic Planning Department of the Ministry of Economic Development Samad Bashirli said, APA -ECONOMICS reports.


Speaking about the concept, Bashirli noted that the concept reflects 8 main directions: “The development of the concept has been tasked to the National Action Group. 37 government agencies - the various ministries and committees have been involved in this process. The national group will at least once a year inform the President about the done work”.

Bashirli noted that the National Action Group will twice in a year receive reports from all the structures relative to the done work. The final report will be submitted to the President. The Central Bank, the Ministry of Taxes and the State Committee on Securities have already submitted initial reports to the National Group. Such strategic plans will be developed every 6 months.

Bashirli stressed that the concept plans to develop 166 documents in 2014.

Note that, according to the balance of payments for 2012, the volume of non-oil export of Azerbaijan made $1.9 billion.
