Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics., the Islamic development Bank’s mission to visit Azerbaijan, in November, 2013, said the director of Islamic Banking Department at the International Bank of Azerbaijan Bahnam Gurbanli.
He says development of Islamic banking will be discussed as a part of the mission. At the same time, a working group consisting of representatives from the Cabinet of Ministers, Central Bank, Ministries of Economic Development, Taxes and Finance and International Bank of Azerbaijan will be established on improvement of legislation for Islamic banking. The Working Group will develop concept and draft law on improvement of Islamic banking.
