Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The total amount of transactions on current transfers with foreign countries made AZN $ 1.440 bln, during January-June, 2013.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan says that 50.2% or $ 723.0 mln of this is receipts, $ 717.0 mln or 49.8% - transfers from the country.
So, $6 mln-positive balance was formed on current transfers. For comparison to a year earlier, $ 120 mln-negative balance was observed. Note that, transfers to the country slid 15.4%, from country – 26.4%.
95.8% of total premiums on current transfer are money orders which transferred to individual persons from abroad, 1.7% imported humanitarian goods, 2.5% other premiums.
