Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In January-February, AZN 3.5 bln-goods were sold to consumers in retail trade subjects in Azerbaijan, up 8.5% from previous year.
State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that 50.1% of the consumption goods made food products, drinks and tobacco products, 49.9% - non-food products.
Volume of e-trade turnover rose 1.5 times to AZN 1,688,700. Population purchased 92.7% of goods from legal entities’ trade networks, 7.3% - from individuals’. 95.9% of e-trade goods made non-food products.
Catering turnover surged 14.3% to AZN 141.7 mln. The volume on catering facilities of legal entities amounted to AZN 60.4 mln, of individuals’ facilities stood at AZN 81.3 mln.
