Azerbaijan gets 9.4% rise in retail commodity turnover

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-August, 2013, retail commodity turnover made AZN 12.2 bln, up 9.4% from previous year.

According to State Statistical Committee, 12.2% of goods was sold by the juridical persons, 87.8% - by individuals. During the reporting period, commodity sale made AZN 4.7 bln, 38.1% of total sale.

86.9% of real growth on retail trade turnover was formed by commercial entities of juridical persons and individuals, 13.1% - by fair ad markets.

Each consumer purchased average AZN 164.0 goods from retail trade network, up 14.7$ compared to a year earlier.

99.8% of retail trade turnover was formed by activity of enterprises and commodity markets belonging to non-state property and AZN 12,179.3 mln-goods were sold in this sector, up 9.6% from 2012.
