Azerbaijan gets 13% growth in revenues on compulsory insurance of cars

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In September of this year, over 70.800 (3.4%) insurance agreements were signed on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners, of which about 21,000 were one-month (transit vehicles of temporarily used in Azerbaijan).

Compulsory Insurance Bureau told APA that total premiums on this type of insurance made AZN 5.7 mln (+12.7%). In September, average insurance premium made AZN 81.7.

Besides, during this period, 6,362 agreements were signed on compulsory insurance of real estate and 205 – on compulsory insurance of civil liability of exploitation of property. AZN 975.300 insurance premiums were collected on compulsory insurance of real estate and AZN 17.400 – on compulsory insurance of civil liability of exploitation of property.
