Azerbaijanâ€™s economic growth reaches 5%

According to SSC, 63.9% of GDP was produced in production, including 48.6% - in industry, 10.9% - in construction, 4.4% - in agriculture, forestry and fishery, 29.6% - in service spheres.

25.0% of the value added in service sector made trade and repair of transport facilities, 18.5% - transport and storehouse, 7.4% - tourist accommodation and catering, 5.7% - information and communication services, 43.4% - social and other service spheres. Net taxes for product and import made 6.5% of GDP.

Value added in non-oil sector rose 10.9% compared to previous year and its share in GDP increased to 54.3% from 49.3%. 45.7% of GDP fell to share of oil-gas sector, down 0.7% by contrast to a year earlier.

The value added rose 35.5% in the construction, 21.1% - in tourist accommodation and catering, 9.1%, - in trade and repair of transport facilities, 7.5% - in information and communication services, 4.4% - in agriculture, forestry and fishery, 3.8% - in transport and storehouse, 3.0% - in social and other service spheres.
