Per capita personal income in Azerbaijan increases by 5.7%

According to State Statistical Committee, growth rate of per head income exceeded the consumption price rise by 3.7 percentage points and purchasing power of the population soared 3.7% in comparison to a year earlier.

“69.2% or AZN 15.8 bln of incomes were spent to consumer needs, 9.3% - to the payment of taxes and contributions for social insurance, 1.7% - to payments of interest on credit and 19.8% - to charge”, said the committee.

The income in the disposal of population made AZN 14.4 bln, up 7.1% from a year earlier.
