 Pasha Life Insurance gets 84% rise in insurance premiums

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Pasha Life Insurance’s premiums during January-May, 2013, made AZN 14.862 mln, up 83.5% from a year earlier. Company says share of voluntary insurance types in premiums reached 50%.

 

According to closing statement, eh portfolio was formed by insurance premiums from living insurance, Compulsory insurance against cases of becoming disabled due to accidents at work or professional illness, borrowers’ life insurance and insurance against critical diseases.

 

Moreover, AZN 380,000 payments were implemented on the insurance accidents, up 3.8 times from 2012. Share of compulsory insurance in total insurance payments made 91.2%, voluntary insurance types – 8.2%.

 

Pasha Life Insurance has been in operation since November, 2010.
