Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. In May, decrease of food products prices by 0.9%, increase of prices of non-food products and payable services and tariffs by 0.1% caused decrease of consumption goods prices and service tariffs by 0.4% compared with a month ago, said the State Statistical Committee.

 

According to SSC, during the month, the prices of flour, buckwheat, bread, beef, chicken, fresh fish, egg and etc decreased; prices of corn oil, apple, pear, greens, beet, carrot, onion increased.

 

At the same time, non-food products – cement, laundry washer, vacuum cleaners and etc, were cheapened; prices of shoes, some construction materials, window glass and etc soared.

 

Air passenger transportation tariffs from the paid services for population on international flights rose, railway passenger transportation from the country declined.
