Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. In January-June, 2013, the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan made $17,144.523 mln, down 0.16% compared to a year earlier, said the State Customs Committee.
According to SCC, the export dropped 5.8% to $11,970.055 mln, import – rose 16.0% to $ 5,147.468 mln. During this period, Azerbaijan exported 1,560 types of goods, imported – 5,347 types.
Note that most of exported goods are crude oil. So, cost of crude oil export made $9.940 bln, down 9.6% from previous year. Totally, crude oil export made 17.286 mln tonnes, down 4.8% from 2012. At the same time, 3.359 bcm of gas was exported during 6 months, which is down 4.6% in comparison to a year ago.
