Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Amendments will be made in the relevant legislation base on agrarian insurance in Azerbaijan, said the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov.
According to him, insurance services in agriculture are at low level: “Because of the people has little information about participation in this market. On the other hand, existing mechanisms are not perfect. In connection with this, the Ministry of Finance and insurance companies are studying foreign experience”.
Sharifov stressed that the Ministry will draft proposals on application of insurance eservices in agrarian sphere and submit them to government and the president: “May be amendments will be made in the legislation that we can use this type of insurance widely”.
