Express Bank gets 20% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of April 1 2013, assets of Express Bank made AZN 235.566 mln (+20.0%).

During the reporting period, loan portfolio of the bank grew by 41.3% to AZN 119.132 mln, consumer loans made AZN 29.345 mln by rising 1.5 times. Overdue credits dropped 3.6 times to AZN 0.590 mln. Share of overdue credits in total loan portfolio went down 2.0% to 0.5%.

Deposit portfolio rose 1.3% AZN 102.197 mln (+32.9%).

Total capital rose 21.0% to AZN 102.114 mln as well as authorized capital jumped 31.0% to AZN 87.407 mln.

Number of total customers increased by 19.2% to 49,567.0, as well as individuals rose 18.8% to 49,167, legal entities soared 2.1 times to 400. Number of plastic cards stood at 27,816 as of April 1 2013, down 7.6% compared to last year. Debit cards decreased by 9.5% to 26,823, credit cards grew by 1.9 times to 993.

At present time, the bank operates 15 branches, 61 ATMs, 256 POS-terminals and 328 employees across the country.
