AZN 6 bln spent to execution of different state programs in 2012

Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. In 2012, AZN 6 bln was spent to execution of different state programs in Azerbaijan, said the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov.

According to him, for sustainable development of regions was paid attention. So, different state programs are being executed and at the same time, several measures are taken for reduction of dependent of economy on oil sector, establishment of modern infrastructure and renovation of existing infrastructure in the regions: “AZN 6.052 bln was spent to execution of several state programs”.

The Minister said that AZN 1.451 bln was spent to construction of scientific, education, health, social security, culture, sport and other socio-cultural and housing objects.

Sharifov says AZN 3.023 bln was directed to construction and reconstruction of energy, water and gas supply, transport, utility, melioration and other infrastructure.

Moreover, construction of airports (Gabala), increase of authorized capital of State Caspian Shipping Company also required funds.
