AZN 1.1 bln allocated from reserve funds in Azerbaijan last year

Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. In 2012, AZN 1.1 bln was allocated for different purposes from President’s Reserve Fund and Reserve Fund of State Budget in Azerbaijan, said the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov.

According to him, AZN 300 mln was allocated from President’s Reserve Fund for implementation of several social and infrastructure projects, construction works in cities, regions and settlements, constriction of inter-village roads and financing of other measures.

At the same time, AZN 838 mln was allocated from Reserve Fund of State Budget. Major part of these funds was directed to elimination of results of earthquake in Zagatala, Shaki, Balakan and Gakh Regoins: “AZN 120 mln was allocated for this purpose”.

Besides, AZN 158.9 mln was allocated for construction and repair of kinder gardens and schools in the cities and regions.
