Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The EBRD’s 22nd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors and Business Forum has today kicked off in Istanbul, Turkey.
According to APA-Economics, the main topics-to-be-discussed will be diversification and modernization of economics of EBRD-member countries, development of non-oil and gas sectors, improvement of business and investment climate, technological and innovative progress and strengthening of financial markets.
Besides EBRD, representatives of other international financial institutions, large corporate financial organizations will also attend the annual meeting.
Azerbaijan is represented at the event by Mr. Sahil Babayev, Director of the International Department, Ministry of Economic Development.
Azerbaijan is a member of EBRD since 1992.
