Azer-Turk Bank gets 21% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Azer-Turk Bank’s assets stood at AZN 82.789 mln, up 21.2% from a year earlier.

 

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 44.0% to AZN 56.039 mln. At the same time, consumer lending made AZN 20.476 mln, up 17.8% in comparison to a year earlier. Overdue credits increased by 1.5 times to AZN 4.226 mln and its share in loan portfolio surged 0.3 percentage point to 7.5%.

 

Deposit portfolio dropped 14.1% to AZN 28.086 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 18.700 mln, up 14.7% compared to a year ago.

 

Total capital grew 5.3% to AZN 13.901 mln, as well as authorized capital soared 5.2% to AZN 12.243 mln.

 

Total clients advanced 19.7% to 29,829, including individuals – 20.9% to 28,869, legal entities slipped 3.9% to 960. Plastic cards made 3,017, up 21.1% from previous year. Debit cards climbed 13.0% to 1,976, credit cards – 39.9% to 1,041.

 

For the present, the bank operates 4 branches, 7 ATMs and 43 POS-terminals across the country.
