AGbank gets 16% rise in Q1 assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1 2013, assets of AGbank made AZN 373.769 mln (+16.4%).

During the reporting period, loan portfolio of the bank grew by 28.9% to AZN 272.146 mln, consumer loans made AZN 26.950 mln by rising 49.2%. Overdue credits soared 13.0% to AZN 47.531 mln. Share of overdue credits in total loan portfolio rose 2.4% to 17.5%.

Deposit portfolio jumped 17.1% AZN 221.006 mln. Population deposits made AZN 175.627 mln (+6.0%).

Total capital rose 24.0% to AZN 43.894 mln as well as authorized capital jumped 25.0% to AZN 25.0 mln.

Number of total customers increased by 33.3% to 79,625, as well as individuals rose 30.7% to 76,637, legal entities soared 2.7 times to 2,988. Number of plastic cards stood at 66,960 as of January 1 2013, up 28.4% compared to last year. Debit cards increased by 29.6% to 51,253, credit cards grew by 24.6% to 15,707.

At present time, the bank operates 17 branches, 62 ATMs, 1,081 POS-terminals and 603 employees across the country.
