To him, CBA does not concern about the created situation and those banks can be changed to non-banking credit organization or consolidated. Abdullayev noted that most banks have enough necessary capital.

Moreover, Abdullayev took a stance on statements of some international financial institutions, as well as Fitch rating agency on capital shortcoming in Azerbaijan’s banking sector. Recently, Fitch agency declared that at present time, Azerbaijani banks need extra capitalization at amount of $700 mln.
