Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. The share of regions in Azerbaijan-based banks’ loan portfolio declined. Central Bank of Azerbaijan says as of April 1, 2013, the total loan portfolio across the country made AZN 12,953,829,200. Of this, AZN 11,369,952,300 or 87.77% falls to share of Baku, 12.23% - to regions. In 2012, these indexes were 87.59% and 12.41%. This means that the share of regions in the loan portfolio across the country fell 0.18 percentage points.

 

The largest provision of credit after Baku is Aran economic region. The volume of provision of credit in this region made AZN 536,384,400 or 4.14% of total loan portfolio during the first quarter of 2013. Next places for the volume of credits were held by Absheron (AZN 359,626,300 or 2.78%), Ganja-Gazakh (AZN 210,535,100 or 1.63%), Lankaran (AZN 166,635,600 or 1.29%), Nakhchivan (AZN 87,977,800 or 0.68%), Shaki-Zagatala (AZN 70,574,300 or 1.29%), Guba-Khachmaz (AZN 55,945,700 or 0.43%), Mountainous Shirvan (AZN 54,120,900 or 0.42%), Upper Karabakh (AZN 29,434,000 or 0.23%) and Kalbajar-Lachin (AZN 12,642,800 or 0.1%).
