Caucasus Development Bank gets 75% rise in expenses

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, Azerbaijan-based Caucasus Development Bank’s assets stood at AZN 35.627 million, up 11% from a year earlier.
The bank said loan portfolio rose 10.9% to AZN 28.499 million, deposit portfolio fell 11.8% to AZN 2.759 million, total capital grew 2.3% to AZN 11.042 million and authorized share capital stood at AZN 10 million.
Compared to the same period last year, revenues rose 63.4% to AZN 2.755 million and expenditures went up 75% to AZN 2.272 million. The bank’s profit rose 25.2% to AZN 482 000.
The number of bank’s staff rose 15.3% to 68.
Owned by Azeri, US, German, Georgian and Russian legal entities, banks and individuals, Caucasus Development Bank has been in operation since 1996. The bank operates 2 branches across the country.
