Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Bank Standard plans to open several branches by this year-end. Javid Guliyev, Deputy Chair of the Board told APA-Economics that the branches will be established in Khirdalan, Guba, Khachmaz and Zagatala in September-November. Guliyev noted that the bank also plans to open branch abroad. The issue will be considered in the business plan of the bank for next year.
Bank Standard opened Ahmadli, Ulduz, Bakikhanov and Ipoteka branches in the first half of this year. The number of the bank’s branches reached 15.
Bank Standard, owned by AB Standard, has been in operation since 1995.
As of July 1, Bank Standard’s assets stood at AZN 712.3 million, loan portfolio at AZN 439.1 million and deposit portfolio at AZN 108.3 million.
