Amrahbank sees 16% decline in profit

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based Amrahbank’s assets stood at AZN 87.283 mln, up 38.4% compared with a year ago.

Bank says the deposit portfolio gained 14% to AZN 40.813 mln, population’s deposit rose by 21% to AZN 26.025 mln, loan portfolio extended 26% to AZN 46.143 mln, consumer lending grew 36% to AZN 33.765 mln.

Total capital 7.3% increased to AZN 21.439 mln, authorized capital climbed 12.2% to AZN 14.387 mln.

Revenue ended up14% to AZN 6.893 mln, expenditure soared 19.6% to AZN 5.893 mln. Profit slipped 16.4% to AZN 1 mln.

Staffs dropped 4.3% to 337, average monthly salary surged 25% to AZN 687.

Owned by 5 local individuals and International Investment Bank Bahrain Amrahbank has been in operation since 1993. The bank operates 24 branches, 19 ATMs and 53 POS-terminals across the country.
