Azerbaijani President participates in opening of Samur customs check-point

The head of state but the ribbon symbolizing the opening and familiarized with the new customs check-point built on the level of the modern standards.

Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev and chief of State Border Service Elchin Guliyev informed President about the work done in the customs check-point. It was said that the construction began in 2008. The total area of the customs check-point is 5ha. There are temporary checking rooms, cells, canteen, administrative building and a room for cynologic service in the territory of the customs check-point.

The baggage and transport vehicles are inspected on the level of the most modern requirements. All baggage is seen on the monitor of the special X-ray apparatus.

The system of one-stop shop has been applied in the customs check-point. Sanitary, quarantine, phytosanitary and veterinarian services are also operating in the terminal.
