Nominal incomes grow 9.5% in Azerbaijan in January-May

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. During the period of January and May, Azerbaijani populationâ€™s total nominal incomes rose by 9.5%, to AZN 9.4 bln, the State Statistical Committee told APA.

The per capita earnings of Azerbaijani population grew 8.3% to AZN 1 056.7.

Of the revenue, people spent 69.7% on consumption expenses, 9.9% for taxes, social insurance and voluntary membership dues and 18.7 for increasing savings and capitals.

The populationâ€™s net income after taxes, compulsory charges and voluntary membership dues grew by 10.2%, year-on-year, to AZN 8.5 billion.
