State budget surplus makes 3.5% of GDP

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The incomes of state budget made AZN 3 232.6 mln, expenditures AZN 2 779.9 mln. The budget surplus was AZN 452.7 mln and made 3.5% of Gross Domestic Products.

According to State Statistical Committee, during the same period, the budget incomes dropped AZN 1.6 mln or 0.05%, expenditures AZN 192.5 mln or 6.4% compared with a year ago. The surplus rose by 190.9 mln or 73%.

THe 34.7% of tax incomes came from VAT, 36% from profit taxes of legal entities, 10.3% from individuals, 7.7% from excise tax, and 4.8% from taxes about foreign economic activity.

AZN 1 041.8 mln was spent to investment in economy, AZN 440 mln social protection and social maintenance, AZN 423.8 mln financing of education and health.
