For Ukraine, a strong army is a priority in negotiations, said Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President during a meeting with community leaders in the Chernihiv region, APA reports, citing Unian.
According to him, this is Ukraine's "red line." Therefore, there can be no discussion about reducing the personnel numbers in the Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian leader also referred to Russia’s occupied regions as part of the country’s "red line," stressing that these areas are considered Ukrainian territory.
"Fair peace will only be possible once the occupied territories are returned. We will do everything to restore Ukraine’s territorial integrity," he said.
In addition, Zelensky considered the security guarantees to be provided to his country as one of the key issues.
