Baku-APASerbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Tuesday after meeting interior ministers of Germany and France that the three countries will from September engage in intensive cooperation on suppressing international organized crime and illegal migrations by forming a working group, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere and French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve finished their two-day visit to Serbia on Tuesday by meeting Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and agreeing to form a working group made out of Serbian, German and French members of police and security services.

"The group will tackle issues such as organized crime, with a specific focus to the drug trafficking," said Vucic at a press conference held in the Serbian government building. "It will also deal with illegal migration and asylum seekers (from Serbia)."

He added that Serbia will learn from France and Germany how to tackle international terrorism, which, he said, is a realistic threat to country's security due to the increasing number of fighters that leave Western Balkans to participate in conflicts in Middle East.

"We also want to start a fierce battle against drug dealers, and for that we expect support from France and Germany," Vucic said.

Thomas de Maiziere said that the biggest part of 120,000 people that apply for asylum in Germany every year comes from Serbia.

He said this problem will be solved by proclaiming Serbia a "safe country" by the German parliament in September, which will mean that all asylum applications coming from Serbia will be automatically rejected.

Bernard Cazeneuve said that European countries should exchange information and develop police cooperation because "Europe must be united in the fight against international organized crime, corruption and illegal migrations."
