Baku – APA. The European Union is drawing up a unified response to Russian President Vladimir Putin's second appeal to the leaders of several European countries on the Ukrainian gas problem, European Commission press-secretary Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen told journalists, APA reports quoting The Voice of Russia.
The appeal published yesterday is addressed to the same 18 leaders of Western and Eastern European countries as Putin's first appeal on the problem of the Ukraine's gas debt. The previous time Putin appealed to several European leaders in April.
"We are drawing up our response which will be the EU's unified response to Putin's letter," Hansen said. She pointed out that the response will be produced in coordination with EU countries.
