Baku-APA. The Bavarian Ministry of Interior prohibited the neo-Nazi organization "Free Network South" and carried on a thorough search on Wednesday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

"The organization takes up anti-constitutional activities and pursues in aggressively combative methods," the ministry stated the reason of ban on its website.

The "Free Network South" has taken the place of "Frankish Action Front," which was banned in 2004 because of its anti-constitutional activities, Interior Minster Joachim Herrmann said.

The network carries on using personnel, ideology, goals and actions of the banned "Frankish Action Front," so it is actually a substitute organization, Herrmann continued.

"The current ban and its accompanying measures underline once again that the state government consistently uses all means of law to handle neo-Nazi activities effectively."

The Interior Ministry has confiscated assets of supporters of the right-wing extremists, including a house estate and propaganda materials.

The confiscated concept papers and programs show the deep-rooted Nazi ideology and violent orientation of "Free Network South" and its followers, according to the statement.

Since 6 o'clock in the morning, the investigators carried out a thorough search of the meeting point of the neo-Nazi organization in Oberprex, a district in the northern Bavarian city of Hof.
