“We will cooperate with whoever wins the elections in Hungary, but I am confident that Viktor Orbán will win,” stated US Vice President James David Vance at a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest, APA reports.
Vance said that bureaucrats in Brussels have done everything possible to ensure that the Hungarian leader loses the elections: “Bureaucrats in Brussels are trying to hinder the development of the Hungarian people because they do not like a leader who fights for the people. What is happening in this country, what happened during the election campaign, is one of the worst examples of foreign intellectual interference that I have seen or read about.”
It should be noted that parliamentary elections in Hungary are scheduled for April 12.
