A detention order has been issued for 106 suspects, including Imamoglu, said Türkiye's Minister of Justice, Yılmaz Tunch in his statement regarding the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, APA reports.
According to him, as a result of two investigations, 106 people have been detained: "There are accusations of aiding a terrorist organization. There are no privileges before the law. It is wrong to make calculations without knowing the content of the matter. The court is not subject to anyone's orders or instructions."
The minister said the call to take to the streets is unacceptable.
