The next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Armenia has been held in Tbilisi, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
The Georgian side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia, while the Armenian side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to current issues on the agenda of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries. The sides emphasized the intensive dynamics in trade-economic, transport, energy, tourism, culture, education and other fields.
Ongoing processes in the South Caucasus region were also discussed. In this context, the Georgian side once again confirmed its readiness to contribute to strengthening peace, prosperity and stability in the region.
