At least 88 civilians were injured as a result of a Russian missile strike on Sumy, according to the Sumy City Council, APA reports citing RBC Ukraine.
"The number of injured has risen to 88," the city council's statement reads.
It was specified that among the injured are 17 children.
Russian forces launched a missile strike on the center of Sumy this afternoon. Initially, local authorities reported 28 injured, but the number has since increased.
