The Romanian Ministry of Defense has signed a framework agreement with Israel’s defense manufacturer Rafael Advanced Defense Systems for the procurement of air defense systems worth over 2 billion euros, APA reports.
According to the Ministry, the agreement envisions the signing of three separate contracts, under which Romania will acquire six SHORAD-VSHORAD integrated air defense systems.
In addition, the agreement also includes the training of Romanian military personnel, logistical support, and the supply of ammunition.
