"Due to a shortage of weapons and ammunition in our country, we can defend ourselves against Russia's potential attack for up to two weeks," said the head of the country's National Security Bureau, Darius Lukovsky, APA reports citing the comments.ua portal.
According to him, this period will be spent on involving support from NATO and other allies.
The general also revealed that his country’s military reserves are dwindling due to the weapons being sent to Ukraine.
