One person has been killed and another seriously injured in a shooting in the centre of Espelkamp (district of Minden-Lubbecke) in western Germany on Thursday, APA reports citing Bild.
The police assume that was a rampage, Bild reported, quoting a police source.
An investigation is underway.
According to some reports, two people, a man and a woman, were killed in the shooting.
"Shooting in the city centre of Espelkamp in Minden-Lübbecke: According to the police, two people have been killed. A man and a woman. The perpetrator is said to be on the run. Police forces from all over East Westphalia-Lippe are currently being pulled together on site," WDR reported.
