Important issues in terms of bilateral cooperation were discussed during the visit of Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili to Azerbaijan, said the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia in his statement to journalists, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.
“I would like to note the very positive atmosphere that prevailed throughout the visit, which once again highlights the special and strategic relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan. During the meetings, especially in the meetings with President Ilham Aliyev, important issues were discussed in terms of bilateral cooperation, including regional cooperation, as well as current global events.
The importance of cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the context of the Black Sea and Azerbaijan was once again emphasized. This cooperation is fundamental and essential for collaboration both in the region as a whole and in a broader regional context within the East-West connection framework,” Darsalia said.
