As a result of operational-investigative measures carried out by employees of the Organized Crime Agency of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA), a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye, born in 1990, T.E., who was wanted through Interpol for a number of serious crimes, was arrested, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports citing the Georgian MIA.
It was reported that the arrested individual had been internationally wanted by the Republic of Türkiye on charges of murder, attempted murder, robbery, illegal arms trafficking, robbery, and being a member of an organized criminal group.
The investigation revealed that the accused person had crossed the Georgian border before the international search was issued for him.
It was noted that as a result of intensive investigative measures carried out by law enforcement officers, the whereabouts of the individual were determined, and he was arrested.
