The countries of the so-called "coalition of the willing" plan to patrol the territory of Ukraine in the air and at sea, APA reports citing izvestiya.
This was announced on July 10 by French President Emmanuel Macron in a conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, which was broadcast on YouTube.
"All the work <... The idea is to organize a coalition of 30 partner countries and patrol in the air and at sea," Macron said.
He also noted that such actions could send a "strategic signal" to Russia.
When he arrived in Britain, he declared that the Europeans would never leave Ukraine.
On the same day, Macron announced his readiness to send up to 50,000 soldiers to Ukraine. He clarified that soldiers from other European countries can also join the contingent. Such forces may be transferred to the control of the NATO military bloc.
